“I was skiing this afternoon up Kovach trail near the Kananaskis lodge area. I came upon a bobcat on the trail just past the Aspen trail intersection. It just lay there as the snow fell and didn’t appear aggressive so I skied calmly past the cat. Super cool experience!”
Is it a bobcat or a lynx?
Looks like a Lynx to me.
We saw two while skiing last weekend. Rounded a corner on Kovach and they both were walking calmly, looked back at us, and continued to walk. Very neat to see them!
