Groomer’s report from West Bragg Creek

After a stunning start to the season in October, the West Bragg Trails are back to square one. Virtually all of 60 cm of snow we had two weeks ago disappeared, and was just recently replaced with 13 cm of new. Unfortunately, without an accumulated base, ski conditions are poor, and snow harvesting is in progress to make some skiing viable. If you do choose to ski, stay on north facing core trails such as West Crystal and Hostel Meadow. Rock skis are recommended and watch for natural hazards.

Extreme caution is advised on any hills as evidenced by a few injuries yesterday.

We remind skiers that they are responsible for social distancing of 2m, regardless of where there are ski tracks.
