More bridges have been finished! Alf Skrastins sent me this email:

“Winter can’t be that far away now! Here’s how things looked at Galatea Creek/Lillian Lake on Labour Day: 32 Photos of Lillian and Galatea Lakes, Sep 7, 2015
The Galatea Creek trail is finally open… a long wait since the 2013 flood. The trail may be open, but the repair work is not exactly completed yet. Still, it’s nice to get back there again.

Sat Sep 12: Grand Opening Ceremony for the West Bragg Creek All-Season Trails.

Alf also sent this poster and a note about GBCTA:

“The West Bragg Creek All Season Trails Plan was approved by the Government of Alberta in September 2010. In the past 5 years, Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association volunteers have constructed virtually all of the trails proposed in that plan.”

The Ribbon creek trail is closed, but it looks like it’s being worked on. I hiked up the Coal Mine trail yesterday, starting from Ribbon creek parking lot and I observed six K-Country trucks and two flatbeds in the parking lot.
