Can anyone guess when the snow will arrive? Stoney-Nakoda Resort, which is located near the entrance to K-Country, is giving away a free night in a suite to the person who accurately guesses the date when Elk pass is first trackset.
All the details are on the contest page, so click over and enter your guess.
Elk pass in Kananaskis is usually one of the first places with skiable snow each winter. Going back in my records, its first tracksetting has been as early as Nov 12 and as late as Dec 12.
One of the best things about skiing in K-Country is apres-ski at Stoney-Nakoda Resort for dinner and/or refreshments. It’s a great place for skiers to relive the day’s events, and it’s on the way home whether you live in Calgary or Canmore.
The deadline for entering is Nov 20. You can also access the contest page from the main menu, under “contests.”
Again, don’t enter on this page. Go to the contest page to leave your guess.
