-The U.S. para-nordic team on Banff trail at Canmore Nordic Centre-
Jennifer’s question about CNC is probably on the minds of many skiers. I collected a few photos and comments from Twitter and Facebook of the natural snow at the Canmore Nordic Centre yesterday.
U.S. ParaNordic team: “Fabulous ski today on the Banff trail in the falling snow!”
“What a difference a two day storm makes – Banff Trail, Banff Loop, Bow Trail, Meadowview past the meadow, and Rundle have all been rollerpacked!! Please ski with caution and watch for early season natural hazards.Thank you nature for this wonderful ski treat”
“Big props to the Canmore Nordic PP! Skiing at the Nordic Centre is great, Banff Trail, upper and lower Banff Trail Loop, Meadowview, Rundle and many other trails have been packed and groomed for skating. Didn’t kiss a single rock out there tonight!” -Drew Goldsack
Can anyone comment on how the Saturday evening rain affected the trails?
Not sure how it affected the trails, but it eventually turned to snow which should have helped.
