The south end trails in PLPP were trackset yesterday including Elk Pass, Blueberry Hill, Hydroline, and Patterson. According to Mallory’s early morning report, there will be 5 cm of fresh snow on top of the grooming and it’s still snowing.
Telephone Loop at West Bragg Creek has been trackset.
A snowfall warning has been issued for Lake Louise and Banff, but the lion’s share of this snow will be falling in the north end of Banff National Park. Windy.com predicts 6 cm for Lake Louise and 2 cm for Banff townsite.
The web cams show that it’s snowing at Lake Louise and Castle junction.
More snow is on the way for Sunday and it will be throughout the SkierBob empire with amounts in the 5 cm range.

At Canmore Nordic Centre, the man-made snow on Banff Trail has been trackset to the meadow. The stadium area and some trails will be closed to the public today through Sunday for the races. There are 705 participants and many officials and volunteers, so it will be a busy place.
