Subject: Ski right here!
Sometimes you just can’t get to the mountains to ski – and sometimes you don’t need to. With all the new snow in Calgary, I decided to “Ski Here” and put on my skis right behind my garage in the back alley. Then I skied to a local park.
The sun was shining, the robins were singing, and the gulls were flying overhead. And once I had broken trail, I got some great glide on waxless skis when I skied a few more rounds. This is spring skiing!
