Update Sat Dec 24 @7:45 a.m: I received 2 cm overnight in Canmore(and another 2 cm is predicted for today). I expect the Ribbon Creek – Skogan Pass trails would have also received at least that much, so I’m wondering if Lower Skogan would now be skiable?

PLPP grooming is underway

This is what we have been waiting for! 🙂 🙂 🙂 This Live Grooming Report showed up late this afternoon. There might be more to the story as I see only a portion of Lookout north side was done. With these cold temperatures, equipment problems can be a concern.

Best ever conditions on Skogan loop

I had a wide and varied choice of trails to ski today. Cascade? Mt Shark? Pocaterra? Blueberry hill? Spray river? Lake Louise?

Trip Report from Keith Bagnall(pictured in below photo): “We skied to Skogan Pass today from Ribbon Creek parking lot. The temperature at the car was +2C and the trails were slippery, so we chose our waxless skis. Conditions were excellent for making snowmen.”
