It was exciting to wake up and read on the PLPP Live Grooming report that Elk Pass was trackset.

Hearing rumours of a big snowfall, I made an exploratory trip into PLPP(Peter Lougheed Provincial Park) this afternoon. At the first checkpoint there was 25 cm of snow at Pocaterra Hut.

Fantastic spring skiing in PLPP

In my log book, I use the term “Best Day” reservedly and only for exceptional experiences. Today’s ski trip earned that honour, one of only five this winter.
