Heaven for XC skiers

Fallsalot mentioned playing hooky and “skiing orgy.” Tomorrow would be a perfect day to do it. I wish I had thought of “skiing orgy” because that would have described this wonderful day.

Great conditions on Bill Milne and Wedge

Today was probably the perfect day to ski. Snow is still cold, but the air temperature was pleasant, with sunny skies and no wind. The conditions on Bill Milne and Wedge Connector are as good as I’ve ever seen them.

The wind was howling and the snow was blowing on the drive out to Kananaskis.
