First ski trip of the year was a good (and cold) one

Like a dream come true, my favourite loop, Whiskey Jack, Tyrwhitt, and Elk pass all had new tracksetting last night.

First time on Wheeler

-Susan and Spencer at the Pocaterra / Lynx junction- I overcame my fixation with skiing the south trails in PLPP and enjoyed an 18K loop

Boxing day bliss

-Skiers had fast tracks and beautiful scenery on Elk pass today- Before I tell you about our outstanding ski trip in PLPP, let’s take a look at some other business.

Good thing it’s my favourite

-Many skiers were enjoying the great conditions on Elk Pass- When people ask me to name my favourite ski trail, I usually say it’s the last one I skied on.

Late afternoon report

-Jane and Brian on Whiskey Jack.- It was snowing at the bottom of Whiskey Jack at 5 pm. Hopefully it will continue, and cover all those pine needles with fresh, cold snow.

14K of fantastic skiing(and 3.8K of survival)

-Approaching the Tyrwhitt meadows which are around the corner in the sun.- My goal today was to ski on Tyrwhitt for the first time this year.
