You can rub shoulders with the likes of Canadian Ski Team member Devon Kershaw at the Rocky Mountain Ski Challenge on Sunday in Canmore. Kershaw, coming off a 4-podium performance at the Tour de Ski, including one gold medal, is registered for the 10K classic event. I guess you can always try for second place!
Get a team of 3 together and do the 30K relay consisting of 1 classic loop, and 2 skate loops. There’s also a 30K individual skate event. Register at Zone 4.
The weather is supposed to cool off for the weekend making for better snow conditions.
Golden, BC
The Huckleberry Loppet also happens this Sunday in Golden, BC. It’s all classic skiing with distances from 1 – 30 K. Register at Zone 4.
