Hi Bob,
Today we headed up Paradise Valley. What a serene environment.
There had been some snow overnight, and temperatures were cool enough to keep skiing enjoyable all day.
A Wolverine had criss-crossed the valley earlier in the morning.

I asked Chuck about avalanche danger on this ski trip:
In my opinion, there is no avalanche danger until about 1 km beyond the turnoff to Lake Annette. Until that point (which is 7 km from the parking lot, and a full day ski for most) you are skiing with big trees on both sides. I would not advise travelling without avi knowledge (and gear) beyond that point. But if you do, you will obviously stay well away from avalanche slopes on the right, by staying well up on the left, as you proceed up the valley. We did not go beyond this point, and there are plenty of magnificent views, and picnic spots, all along Paradise Creek.
