Let’s put this campaign over the top!

in West Bragg Creek

I’ve heard anecdotal reports of a mega-snowfall in West Bragg Creek today. This should extend the ski season considerably. Check the Groomer’s Reports for an update on today’s tracksetting in West Bragg Creek.

West  Bragg Creek winter grooming is 100% donor funded.

Want to keep x-country skiing on perfectly groomed trails in West Bragg? Please consider donating so they can maintain those trails you love.

The 50/50 campaign has raised $15,094 but the goal is $50,000

Click here to donate online (please select Ski Trail Grooming from the drop down list and/or mention 50/50 in the comments).

Or you can send a cheque (made out to GBCTA) to Box 1379, Bragg Creek, AB, T0L 0K0.

Or donate with cash deposited at one of the three secure donation boxes in the West Bragg parking lot.

It’s snowmageddon in WBC today.
The groomers have been out for 40 “man hours” today trying to get on top of this gift from Heaven. Work will continue tonight.
All 65 km of ski trails have been roller packed and the core trails have been track set but it continues to snow…
The Alberta Youth Championships will be running on West /Middle Crystal Line Saturday and Sunday so expect a big crowd but there will be plenty of awesome terrain for everyone to enjoy!

What was the total storm snow amount at WBC? Only 5 cm at nakiska this morning. About 20cm in calgary near downtown.

Groomer Jeff reported 20 cm at 6 pm yesterday at West Bragg Creek. I expect it is getting closer to 25-30 cm by now.

Thanks bob! Probably get on the AT gear in the area as a result. Getting out of my parkade and out of calgary will be the challenge. Very slippery driving in calgary right now so maybe a few laps along the bow river until roads improve.
