It’s snowmageddon in WBC today.
The groomers have been out for 40 “man hours” today trying to get on top of this gift from Heaven. Work will continue tonight.
All 65 km of ski trails have been roller packed and the core trails have been track set but it continues to snow…
The Alberta Youth Championships will be running on West /Middle Crystal Line Saturday and Sunday so expect a big crowd but there will be plenty of awesome terrain for everyone to enjoy!

What was the total storm snow amount at WBC? Only 5 cm at nakiska this morning. About 20cm in calgary near downtown.
Groomer Jeff reported 20 cm at 6 pm yesterday at West Bragg Creek. I expect it is getting closer to 25-30 cm by now.
Thanks bob! Probably get on the AT gear in the area as a result. Getting out of my parkade and out of calgary will be the challenge. Very slippery driving in calgary right now so maybe a few laps along the bow river until roads improve.
