Green wax day

-Valerie, Anthony, and Lindsay on Moraine Lake road- The snow on Moraine Lake road was mighty cold today. I used VR40(-4/-12) and it was grabbing.

Forecast looks promising

Between now and Wednesday, there is snow in the forecast for K-Country, Banff, and Lake Louise. Better yet, after we get the new snow,

10 cm at 10 a.m.

Update Nov 13 @ 3:40 pm: final tally was 16 cm and it’s wet, heavy and already consolidated down to 12 cm. It stopped snowing around 1 pm.

A rare sighting: falling snow!

-My back yard this morning. This was bare ground yesterday.- Fri Feb 20 @ 12:50 pm We’ve received about 3 cm of high-density snow

On Paul Karchut’s Real Ski Report on CBC this morning, he had a clip from PLPP tracksetter James. “The worst conditions in my 30 years here.” He mentioned they were trucking snow onto Wheeler to cover the bare and icy spots.
