Elk pass and Tyrwhitt

Elk pass is in great shape especially when you consider it hasn’t been groomed for eight days.

Today was about as good as it gets. I would have been satisfied with the events of this day even without skiing on the wonderful conditions in PLPP.

The PLPP trail report was updated today and it’s nice to see some trails are starting to be groomed. Most were roller-packed with a snowmobile, but if I’m reading the trail report correctly, it sounds like Elk pass

Hi Bob, Back in November while planning a family trip into the Elk Lakes cabin for the end of April, I used your site to do some historical research to see what the snow-pack was like over the past few years that late in the season.

A perfect day of xc skiing

I think every trail in PLPP must be in great condition right now. I didn’t ski them all, but the ones I did ski were excellent, and the others which I observed looked good.

It’s a good thing the moose is gone from Tyrwhitt because I wouldn’t have stood a chance of outrunning outskiing it today.
