The Calgary Ski Club has posted the following announcement on their website:

Lake Louise Loppet start time on Sunday has been delayed by one hour. It will now start at 12 noon.

With the low tonight in Lake Louise of -31, it will still be extremely cold at 11 a.m. It should be tolerable by noon. On the bright side, waxing should be easy. Good luck to all racers!

Sandy McNabb

Are you ready for the warm weather? Tomorrow(Sunday) is just an appetizer with highs around -13°C. The remainder of the week looks like perfect skiing weather with highs in the minus single digits.

There will be excellent skiing at Sandy McNabb for the near future. The trails were trackset today. Hopefully the destructive walkers won’t show up.

Cascade Valley and Upper Bankhead were trackset today.

The Pipestone trails were trackset on March 1.
