Lake Louise

Cheryl and I are at Emerald Lake tonight, but on the way here, I skied at Lake Louise for a couple hours. I started behind Deer Lodge on the freshly trackset

When I surveyed the devastation from the June flooding, I had my doubts that we’d be skiing on Whiskey jack

Canmore Nordic Centre under the lights

I arrived at the nordic centre just as the sun was setting. There are lots of trails lit for night skiing, and more to come.

Smilin’ faces

I was greeted by 5 cm of new snow on Moraine Lake road and lots of smiling faces. It continued to snow all afternoon.

A day off

After eight straight days of skiing, I took a day off work. It’s a brutal job, considering I was toiling in some mighty cold weather. 🙂 I still went for a jaunt on foot in the back
