Sat Nov 29 @ 8:55 a.m. Every April we get a big dump of snow(which melts right away), and I always say, “Why couldn’t this come in November?” This was an epic November snowfall.

Update Fri Nov 28 @ 6:20 pm: Parks Canada Tracksetter Jeff reports from Lake Louise… “Machine packed the Upper and Lower Tramline and the Bow River Loop. Machine packed and rolled MLR. No track set…. Was -20C at the top end @ 5 pm.

Winter returns with a vengeance

Update Mar 17 at 2 pm: The snow has stopped and the wind has died down. Mar 17 at 10:45 a.m: It’s snowing, with strong winds and blowing snow in Canmore. Poor visibility, temperature -13°C, with approx 8 cm accumulation. For road conditions, check the webcams.
