Winter Wonderland

Recent trip reports which described Lake Louise as a winter wonderland weren’t exaggerating. They received even more snow overnight.

It’s early-season but it’s amazing!

Everybody I met on the trail today was thrilled with the skiing conditions on Moraine Lake road. No tracks yet, but nobody’s too fussy at this time of year.

Ski season is on!

Right on Schedule! Moraine Lake road and the Great Divide were packed and rolled on Sunday Nov 4. I received this update from Parks Canada’s Lake Louise grooming/tracksetting team yesterday(Monday):
